Recent increases in fees for counselling in Alberta are making it more and more difficult for people with low incomes to get the help that they need.
At Cornerstone Counselling Centre, we believe those in distress or in need should have access to professional counselling services, regardless of income level.
In spite of the fact that our fees are based on family income and remain well below the recommended rates, over half of our clients require a subsidy in order to receive counselling.
Two annual Special Events help us achieve this goal:
As a not-for-profit organization, Cornerstone is able to issue tax-deductible receipts for donations . These donations will be directed towards the Compassion Fund.
