The Marriage Preparation course is a weekend workshop designed for couples who are engaged or newly married and wish to establish healthy relationship skills for a vital marriage. Research shows that the first two years of marriage are the formative years in which couples establish life long habits of relating to one another. 

 

             This seminar will help you: 

• understand the important role of expectations in marital satisfaction
• establish effective ground rules that will help you avoid destructive patterns in handling conflict
• discover some essential ingredients of satisfying long-term relationships
• develop a “team” approach to effective problem solving
• discover how to maintain a satisfying physical relationship
• learn practical communication skills that build trust and lead to mutual understanding
• discover the most effective way to say “I love you!” to your partner

• April 15 - 16, 2011

• May 13 -14, 2011

• Friday evening 7-9 pm, Saturday 9:30 am - 3:00 pm
